Army Stakes Ugx 20Million Bounty on Wanted ADF Field Commander

The Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) has announced a reward of Ugx 20million for whoever will lead to the arrest of a wanted Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) Field Commander identified as Suleiman Habiib aka Kinana.

This was announced on Sunday, December 3, 2023, by the UPDF Deputy Spokesperson, Col Deo Akiiki.

Col Akiiki said that Habiib is always deployed to plant bombs around Kampala and other places within the country.

“If seen arrest or call the nearest security agency. 20million Uganda shillings bounty available on his head,” Col Akiiki.

According to Col Aiiki, Habiib is an ADF Field Commander who is always assigned tasks of bomb explosion in Uganda.

“He has so far attempted three times to try and kill innocent Ugandans. He is the one who was behind the bomb which was intercepted by Intelligence as it was being taken to Pastor Kayanja’s church. The bomb which was recovered by security from Bunamwaya and the bomb which was recovered from Mabito. He is also behind the bombs which were intercepted from Kibibi churches in Butambala district,” Akiiki said.

He noted that, Habiib is also the same person who over the weekend planted an IED in Kabalagala that blast but fortunately, no death, adding that, and the one which exploded and burnt a baby house in Katoke in Nansana.

Col Akiiki also noted that Habib often targets big gathering, churches, bars and schools.
