Uganda, together with the citizens, has been betrayed at all fronts by the opposition and their legislators.

In an equitable society, everyone should have equal access to these government institutions to allow equal competition but to also limit interference with these institutions.

Putting in mind the above scenarios with undisputed data from reliable sources and the voices of the coffee farmers who they claim to be fighting for, after meeting Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga, they shared that UCDA has not been of help to them as coffee farmers and that they should be left to embrace the president’s decision of rationalization.

The most efficient services come from specialized institutions whose knowledge and expertise take many decades to learn and achieve. It is unimaginable, for example, to make Mulago Hospital a department in the Ministry of Health or Makerere University a department in the Ministry of Education. The low quality of service delivery in many government departments deserves improvement, not additional work, and throwing away institutions like paper towels is very difficult to understand.

The recruitment process of the RDCs needs to be revised and mechanisms put in place to have the old good days of the RDC secretariat rejuvenated.

Is the opposition enjoying the patronage system of governance? Can this patronage end in our political parties? 

President Museveni needs to act and show that he is on the side of Ugandans; otherwise, the unchecked impunity showcased by people like Mukiza and other government officials will see Ugandans hating their country. These officials are turning Ugandans hopeless.
