Double Joy in Busoga as Kyabazinga and Queen Welcome Twin Princes

The Busoga Kingdom is celebrating the birth of twin princes to His Majesty Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV and Her Royal Highness Queen Jovia Mutesi.

The royal household announced that the twins, Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope, were born on Wednesday August 27, 2025, marking a historic moment for the monarchy.

In a statement on his X platform, the Kyabazinga expressed gratitude and joy.

“With profound joy and heartfelt gratitude, I am delighted to formally announce the birth of our twin sons: Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope, born on the 27th day of August 2025,” he wrote.

“The arrival of the newborns marks a deeply cherished milestone in our family’s journey, and we are overwhelmed and humbled by the magnitude of this double blessing. Both newborns, along with their remarkable mother, are in high spirits and excellent health,” the statement read on.

The Kyabazinga extended his thanks to the Almighty for what he described as a divine blessing.

“We give thanks to Almighty God for His blessings and abundant grace and for ushering us into this new chapter as a family of four. The outpouring of love, goodwill and prayers from all our friends and well-wishers has been profoundly uplifting, and we remain sincerely appreciative of your continued support,” he said.

He added that the royal family looks forward to introducing the princes to the people in due course.

News of the birth sparked widespread joy, with congratulatory messages pouring in across social media.

The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, joined in the celebrations.
