The momentous anticipated music event will mark the first concert by the three singers since the group was disbanded in 2008.

“The reunion concert, which will see the show kick off at 8:00 p.m., promises to be an unforgettable night of music nostalgia and celebration,” a source close to the organizers told our Entertainment Desk.

Blue 3, known for their infectious melodies, dynamic performances, and undeniable lyrical chemistry, will take the stage to deliver a show-stopping performance featuring their greatest hits.

The trio is known for their energetic and soulful ballads like Hitaji, Nsanyuka Nawe, Where You Are, Burn, Sanyu Lyange, Kankyakyankye, Nzijukira, Strong Woman, Together, Kakana, and many more that will reignite the magic that captured the hearts of millions in the early 2000s.

Recently, the singers released a new single titled Guma ahead of their highly anticipated reunion concert, which blends elements of R&B, Afrobeat, and Afro-Pop, showcasing the unique styles and vocal strengths of each member.

Blu3 was a Ugandan girl group formed in 2004 after winning the TV show Coca-Cola Pop Stars. The name was contrived to mean three beautiful (or black) ladies from Uganda, consisting of Cinderella Sanyu, Lillian Mbabazi, and Jackie Chandiru.

They rose to fame in the early 2000s, created an unforgettable mark on the Ugandan music industry, and saw them rise on the East African music scene as the most influential and successful African girl group of all time.

The group’s music dominated the airwaves, becoming anthems for a generation. After disbanding in 2008, the trio pursued solo careers, but their music remained beloved by fans across Uganda and beyond.
