Musician Tiwatope Omolara Savage, commonly known as Tiwa Savage, has dragged fellow musician Davido, real name David Adeleke, to the police over allegations of threatening her.
Savage, who filed a petition with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police says Davido threatened her life and other actions that infringed on her fundamental human rights.
According to Savage, Davido sent messages to her manager, who is also part of his management team, saying that she should not worry and should never say a word to him.
She went on to say that Davido was taunting the manager with words she found to be very disrespectful, malicious, and derogatory.
She claims that the actions of Davido are unethical and can be viewed as a direct threat to her life, privacy, and dignity.
“In the event that anything untoward or harmful were to happen to me or any member of my family, I will like the members of the Nigerian Police Force to hold Davido responsible,” she concluded.
On the December 23, 2024, Tiwa Savage made a post on Instagram with Sophia Momodu, Davido’s ex-lover and mother of his one daughter, something that did not sit well with Davido, hence the fallout.
It should be known that Tiwa Savage and Davido have been friends for a very long time, have done collaborations on songs like Tanana, shared stages, and have the same mutual circles.
