A 32-year-old known bouncer identified as John Samura has been found dead in his house in Kyotera district today, September 6, 2024.

Samura rose to fame during the 2021 elections, when he was witnessed moving with various prominent political leaders from the National Resistance Army.

According to the locals, Samura disappeared from Kyotera for a while; however, they were shocked to see him on the evening of September 5, 2024, moving around in Kyotera Town Council.

During an interview with journalists on September 6, 2024, Samura’s neighbour Sekidde revealed that Samura’s body was found by his wife in the morning on September 6, 2024, when she came back from work.

Sekidde added that he saw her entering the house, and when she screamed for help, he rushed there; however, to his dismay, they found Samura lying on the floor with foam oozing out of his mouth.

’’People are speculating that he either committed suicide by drinking poison or he was poisoned by somebody else; however, his body was taken to the hospital for postmortem examinations, so I believe the police and hospital reports will let us know what caused his death,” Sekidde disclosed.

Sekidde added that police have sealed off his house and surroundings around his house for further investigations into his death.
