PM Nabbanja Preaches Peace to Ugandans, Credits NRM at Ambassadors Gospel Concert

“The NRM government has constructed and tarmacked roads that connect people from the North, South, East, and West and availed a key aspect of life that peace and security which enabled this gathering possible,” PM Nabbanja stated.

At the recently concluded gospel rally of renown gospel artist Mwalimu Ssozi Jorum, Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja called on Ugandans to recognize and appreciate the National Resistance Movement (NRM) government for maintaining peace and security in the country.

Nabbanja said the prevailing stability orchestrated by the NRM made it possible for large public events like the concert to take place.

The event held on Sunday September 8, 2025 at Serena Hotel Ssozi, celebrated Mwalimu Ssozi’s 37 years in music ministry with a concert themed ‘This Far by Grace.’

“The NRM government has constructed and tarmacked roads that connect people from the North, South, East, and West and availed a key aspect of life that peace and security which enabled this gathering possible,” PM Nabbanja stated.

She contributed a cash sum of Ug Shs 20 million on behalf of the government.

The gospel show was also attended by key dignitaries, including Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Dr. Diana Atwine, Pastor Aloysius Bujingo of Prayer Ministries, and National Vice Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Mr. Michael Nuwagira Kaguta, also known as “Toyota.”

For Mwalimu Ssozi, the evening was not just a celebration of music, but a testimony of faith and resilience.

“I’ve seen many seasons over these 37 years. But through it all, it’s by God’s grace that we stand here today, still singing, still serving,” Ssozi said.

The event drew a large crowd and featured performances from several Seventh-day Adventist church choirs, including Golden Gate Choir, Hebrews Choir, Gabriel Ministries, Heavenly Gates Choir, Vision Choir, Harmonious Ministries, Jasper Singers, Heavenly Hearts Choir, and Jordan Shores.
