On December 26, 2024, as is the norm every year during the festive season, city dwellers are treated to a fantastic and fun filled ‘tondeka Kiwatule’ show full of music from all genres and comedy.
Uganda’s Reggae,Rnb artist and organiser of the concert, Bebe Cool has dedicated the proceeds of this concert to building a home for young fan and Tiktoker, Bridgette.
The show will see a number of Ugandan artists like Dr Jose Chameleone,Bebe Cool,Pallaso, Weasle, Alien Skin, Ronald Mayinja, Catherine Kusasira, Lil Pazo, Khalifa Aganaga , Coco Finger and others , with comedians like Madrat and Chiko and others.
Bebecool said the concert’s proceeds will go toward improving Bridgette’s family’s Mubende house.
‘’ I requested Bridgette’s mother to find a piece of property on Mubende’s main road so we could buy it and construct a house there. We will be able to start a business for Mama Bridgette in this advantageous location, enabling her to support her kids.”he said.
Singer Catherine Kusasira told the Nexus Media team that she is delighted to be one of the musicians lined up to sing at the concert since it helps the community and gives hope to Bridgette’s family.
“I am glad to be part of the musicians who will perform on that day . Giving hope and a future to Bridgette’s family makes a difference. I thank Bebe Cool for such an initiative ,” Kusasira said.
The Tondeka Kiwatule concert will happen on Friday, December 26, 2024 , at Kiwatule recreation centre in Kampala with gates opening at 08:00AM and attendees are expected to part with UGX 20.000.
