Minister Mayanja then visited the area to witness the incident where residents expressed their dismay before him.

“The culprits who have done this must be arrested. I’m here with the RDC and his security team to represent the President who is still in power. The President promised to protect his people from land grabbers,” Minister Mayanja said.

Adding, “Whether one owns a piece of land on freehold basis, lease or milo land or even has a land title for it, they should be given the same kind of protection unless he or she chooses to leave the land on their own.”
