He joked that free-range cattle walk more than some voters yet produce less wealth, adding that on a square mile, zero-grazing can sustain thousands of cows compared to the usual 130.

The President highlighted success stories of small-acreage commercial farmers among them Joseph Ijala, the former taxi driver earning over Shs 6.8 million monthly from eggs and milk and George Matongo of Ngoma, whose zero-grazing unit produces more than 900 litres of milk daily despite poor infrastructure.

He directed residents to plant grass for zero grazing, strengthen improved breeds, and take advantage of government programs that support commercial farming.
