“The balls are part of the FIFA Football for Schools Programme launched last week, and they will be distributed to primary schools across the country,” FUFA authorities said.

What is the FIFA Football for Schools Programme?

The FIFA Football for Schools program was launched in Uganda on June 23–25, 2024. It is a component of FUFA’s Technical Master Plan, which aims to provide football as an opportunity for every boy and girl.

Future players who may wish to play football in the future will receive fundamental training through the FIFA Football Schools program. They will provide training to educators, who will then travel to various schools across the nation and impart this knowledge to other educators.
