Dan Petrie, the Acting Chief of Staff of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, said MCC had signed a $60 million Energy Threshold Program hours earlier. The programme aims to lower high electricity costs and improve reliability by modernising the Energy Regulatory Commission, strengthening electric cooperatives, piloting smart-grid technologies and unlocking domestic capital for power infrastructure.

Albinos Reject Merging UNHCR to EOC

The Albinism Umbrella called on Parliament to make wider consultations across the whole country if the government insists on merging UHRC and EOC and also ensure that, in case the new commission is established, its mandate has to be widened to ensure equal opportunities are also implemented in the private sector.
