The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Secretary General, Richard Todwong has asked flagbearers to mobilize for development and prosperity of the community.
Todwong made the statement on Thursday, August 24, 2023, while meeting with flagbearers who had contested for various positions within the five Divisions of Kampala City.
According to Todwong, during the meeting, they discussed strategies to enhance the livelihoods of city dwellers.
“Together with party leaders, we discussed strategies for enhancing the livelihoods of our fellow city dwellers,” Todwong said.
He further said that the leaders reaffirmed commitment to work by mobilizing city dwellers to embrace different government programs including Parish Development Model-PDM.
“We are committed to working with the government to implement interventions that will bring positive change to the lives of Kampala residents,” Todwong said.
He applauded the leaders and urged them to continue serving the country and achieve a prosperous Kampala.
