According to the Commission, the by-election program will commence with an update of the National Voters’ Register from Friday, September 27th, to Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, at update stations in each of the seventy-one parishes in Kisoro District.

“The Commission has appointed Tuesday, October 1, 2024, as the cut-off date for applying for registration as a voter and for transfer of voting location in the District,” the Commission stated.

The Commission stated that displaying the Voters’ Register will be conducted for ten days, from Monday 14th to Wednesday 23rd October 2024, at all the three hundred and twenty-two polling stations in Kisoro District.

In addition, the Commission also set six days for displaying parish tribunal recommendations for deletion from or inclusion on the register, from Wednesday, October 23, to Monday, October 28, 2024, at the respective parish headquarters.
