Adolf Mwesige, the clerk to parliament who also happens to be the accounting officer at parliament and no single coin can be released without his knowledge. These two are the main culprits and we will all be happy if charged in court and then remanded for the massive corruption we have seen at parliament,” Olanya said.

The Commission, led by Chairperson Winnie Agnes Kabogoza-Musoke, presented its annual report for Financial Year 2023/24 and asked Parliament to increase its budget from the current Shs12.1 billion to UGX 21.8 billion to meet their targets.

Parliament is accountable to the people of Uganda and the public has a right to know how their money is being spent.
