The 52nd edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup has advanced to the electrifying quarter-final stage, with eight teams battling for semi-final spots.

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has announced the full schedule, including dates, venues, and kick-off times for all four high-stakes fixtures.

The tournament has reached a crucial stage, with the quarter-finals set to ignite Ugandan football this weekend.

According to FUFA officials, action kicks off on Friday, 3rd April 2026, when NEC FC hosts Vipers SC at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.

This matchup stands out as one of the most anticipated, pitting the hosts against a strong Vipers side that has historically performed well in the competition.

Saturday, April 4, brings URA FC against KCCA FC at Hamz Stadium, also at 3:00 PM. The action continues on Sunday, April 5, with Kitara FC hosting Express FC at their home ground, also starting at 3:00 PM.

The quarter-finals wrap up on Monday, April 6, as Happy Boys face SC Villa at The Royals Park in Butema and Kagaba P/S in Kassanda, with kick-off at 3:00 PM.

On regulations, FUFA says all matches will be decided on the day. If the scores are level after 90 minutes of normal time, teams will play extra time consisting of two 15-minute halves.

The team scoring more goals in extra time advances. Should the deadlock persist, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout, as outlined in Article 20(3) of the competition rules.

Football fans across Uganda are gearing up for these clashes, which promise drama, skill, and potential upsets as the road to the Stanbic Uganda Cup trophy intensifies.
