Police Probe Murder of Tiktoker Diana Skyz, Two Arrested

In a statement released by the Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire, he revealed that earlier on the day her body was discovered, police arrested a security guard attached to the premises after he was found in possession of items suspected to have been stolen.

Police at Kira Road have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of a 24-year-old woman in Kwaata Zone, Kyanja Ward, Kawempe Division, Kampala City.

The deceased has been identified as Namulinde Diana aka ‘Diana Skyz’, a businesswoman and social media content creator who lived alone in an apartment in Kyanja.

Her body was discovered on the morning of February 4th, 2026 after friends went to check on her when she failed to respond to calls and messages. The apartment door was found open.

According to preliminary police findings, the incident is believed to have occurred on the night of February 3rd, 2026 and is being treated as a case of aggravated robbery and murder.

In a statement released by the Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire, he revealed that earlier on the day her body was discovered, police arrested a security guard attached to the premises after he was found in possession of items suspected to have been stolen.

“Some of the recovered property was later identified as belonging to the deceased,” he said on X.

A team of homicide detectives and Scene of Crime Officers visited the scene and documented evidence.

Several exhibits were recovered, and statements have been recorded from witnesses to aid investigations.

Owoyesigyire said three suspects have so far been identified, with two currently in custody to assist with inquiries.

The body of the deceased was conveyed to KCCA Mulago City Mortuary for a postmortem examination to establish the cause of death.

Investigations are ongoing, and police have appealed to the public to provide any information that may help in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
