Phaneroo Ministries International is set to host the 5th edition of the Global Inter-University Conference (GIC) on Saturday, November 14th, 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru, Kampala.
The annual conference, which has become a key gathering for students in higher learning institutions, brings together participants from universities, technical colleges, vocational schools, and specialized training institutes across Uganda and beyond for an experience centered on spiritual growth, leadership, personal development, and purpose.
Now in its fifth year, GIC has grown into a defining platform for empowering young people with biblical principles and practical life skills to navigate a dynamic world. According to the organizers, past editions have recorded testimonies of healing, academic and financial breakthroughs, restored hope, and what attendees describe as direct encounters with God.
“We believe that this generation carries tremendous potential to transform nations,” Apostle Grace Lubega, the Vision Bearer of Phaneroo Ministries, said.
He added that the Global Inter-University Conference exists to raise young people who are spiritually grounded, intellectually equipped, and prepared to lead with excellence in every sphere of society.
Beyond the spiritual experience, this year’s conference will also focus on developing well-rounded professionals. Participants will have access to counselling sessions, corporate networking, and career-building opportunities through Phaneroo’s partnerships with leading organizations.
This year’s edition will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Apostle Grace Lubega, globally acclaimed leadership coach and author Dr. Cindy Trimm, and Apostle Felix Okoh of House of Treasures Ministries in Johannesburg. Renowned Zambian gospel artist Pompi will lead worship and ministry, alongside several celebrated Ugandan gospel ministers.
A student talent showcase spanning music, dance, and drama will also return, with prizes for standout performers.
Organizers noted that comprehensive security arrangements have been put in place and all necessary permissions from relevant authorities have been obtained, with close collaboration with security agencies to ensure a safe environment. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site.
