The High Court has allowed a private prosecution against Judge Julia Sebutinde to proceed, dismissing his bid to halt the case as premature. In a firm ruling, the court clarified that its revision powers apply only to final orders, signaling a strong stance against attempts to interrupt criminal proceedings before trial begins.
“Political prisoners are the battlegrounds. Free all political prisoners before the May 12th swear-in; otherwise, we shall have to retake Uganda using all means in our capacity," Ssemakadde warned.
“Having ensured that NUP didn't get support from the National Consolidated Fund, they went back to the drawing board to come up with the evil scheme in the name of the Protection of Sovereignty Bill. We want to call upon the people of Uganda to take interest in this bill and deny it,” Katana said.
