Edwin Katamba, commonly known as MC Kats, is set to hold the King of the Mic 2023 show, which will run for two days, from December 2 to 3, 2023, at Nexus Lounge in Najeera, Kira municipality.

The King of the Mic event has been one of the most-prepared-for events over the years, following MC Kats’ skill and talent in emceeing on the entertainment scene.

While speaking to our reporter, MC Kats revealed that he is optimistic about putting on a show that his fans will live to remember.

“I am sure my fans will come in as usual to support me and enjoy different talent on the stage from their favorite artists, musicians, MCs, and DJs. I promise to give them a show of their lives,” Kats said.

The lineup of entertainers expected at the event includes the most celebrated singers, deejays, media personalities, and emcees, among others.

These include Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool, Nina Roz, Spice Diana, Pallaso, Lydia Jazmine, Fille, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Navio, Daddy André, Sheilah Gashumba, DJs Slick Stuart and Roja, DJ Vee, DJ Lito, and Lynda Ddane, among others.

MC Kats is allegedly planning to retire from emceeing, making his show the very last he will put up. However, this revelation has brought to mind mixed reactions, as some of his fans still want more of his talent and skill on the stage.
