The Territorial Police in Aswa are hunting for a one Siliman Ochira for buttering to death his mothers lover, identified as Ben Ocakacon.

Fred Enanga, the Police Spokesperson, identified the deceased as a 54 year old peasant of Jenga village in Kitgum district, and a man friend to Ochira’s mother, Filder Aloch.

According to Enanga, Ochira found Ocakacon having an affair with his mother in a potato garden, near their home on the October 10, 2023 at around 9:00 pm.

Enanga said the son whose actions were premeditated, kept spying on his mother, and attacked her lover, with a huge stick.

“He boxed and hit the victim repeatedly with a stick killing him instantly and thereafter, abandoned his body in the garden,” Enanga said.

“The body of the victim was conveyed to Kitgum General Hospital for postmortem and handed over to the relatives,” Enanga added.

Enanga strongly condemn such acts of elderly abuse by children, and said efforts are in place to trace for the whereabouts of the suspect and bring him to book.
