Police has confirmed the killing of four juveniles in a violent incident at Ggaba Daycare in Makindye Division, Kampala.

SP Racheal Kawala, the Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson said a male suspect armed with a knife reportedly attacked the children within the school premises, leading to their deaths.

“We confirm a tragic incident at the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Programme School in Makindye Division, Kampala City, where a male suspect brutally stabbed and killed four juveniles,” Kawala said.

Police reported that the suspect was swiftly apprehended and is currently in custody as investigations continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack and the motive behind the incident.

Authorities have since deployed investigators to the scene, while statements are being recorded from witnesses and school staff to support the ongoing inquiry.
