“We are not going to allow a poor-performing CAO to remain a CAO. Monitoring and evaluation is one key component we shall work on,” the minister noted.
Under Uganda's Penal Code, Section 27, misprision of treason refers to the offence of knowingly concealing information about planned or intended treason without reporting it to the appropriate authorities. The offence carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment upon conviction.
