Uganda reiterated its support for Israel’s right to exist while also backing the Palestinian people’s right to have their own state. The government said many complications surrounding the conflict stem from different actors' failure to address the issue fairly.

"We are demanding that the Judiciary halts Judge Baguma from this case. A judge accused of bias cannot lawfully continue presiding over a case where the accused formally question his impartiality," Bayiga said.
