The Ministry of Health Initiatives and Statistics highlights the growing demand for physiotherapy services in Uganda. Currently, there are about 1,000 registered physiotherapists in the country, which is not enough to meet the needs of approximately two million people who could benefit from these services.

On Gaza, Türk said Israel had killed more than 1,300 Palestinians in daily strikes despite a ceasefire announced almost a year earlier, while continuing to limit humanitarian aid.
