President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has maintained that achieving prosperity is essential to guaranteeing security in Africa.

Museveni said this on Thursday October 5, 2023, at Entebbe State House while lecturing the visiting military students from the Zambian Defence Force.

He listed the four core principles of patriotism, pan-Africanism, socio-economic transformation, and democracy as the basis for Africa to secure its strategic security.

“I lectured visiting military students from the Zambian Defence Forces at Entebbe, where I reiterated the four principles. These four principles help us to achieve mission number one, which is working for the prosperity of our people,” said the President.

The group led by Col. Pezu Lamba is in Uganda on a study tour that is aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of the areas of geopolitics, social, and economic dynamics of the region and how they affect countries acting individually or acting together towards social, economic, and security issues facing the region.
