Kansai Plascon Uganda donates Paint to Kampala Central Police Station

Kansai Plascon Uganda has donated paint to Kampala Central Police Station for  its renovations and the adjacent barracks.

The Kampala Metropolitan Headquarters deputy commander, Commissioner Paul Nkore, received the donations from Santosh Gumte, the managing director of Kansai Plascon Uganda Ltd., together with his team at CPS Kampala on October 13, 2023.

Commissioner Nkore appreciated the generous donation of Plascon paint and highlighted that the gesture will go towards improving the appearance of the facilities, underscoring the importance of community collaboration.

“It is prudent to have such members in the community who actively engage in identifying and addressing societal problems. We are thankful and look forward to continuous collaborations with stakeholders in social transformation,” Nkore said.

Santosh Gumte expressed his sincere delight in partnering with the police on vital social responsibility initiatives such as the renovations of these facilities.

He also underlined the significance of joint efforts in tackling societal concerns, as well as his dedication to good social reform.

The donated Plascon paint will not only enhance the aesthetics of CPS Kampala but also contribute to the personnel stationed in the barracks, making their living and working environments more comfortable and conducive.
