According to the East Kyoga Regional Police Commander, Damalie Nachuha, this incident was confirmed, and it was revealed that the deceased was stabbed twice in the stomach by Erebu during the heated fight that occurred between them.

Nachuha added that Okwii managed to run to the home of his brother-in-law, one Egwau Raymond, and fell in front of the house with blood oozing from the stabbed wounds.

’’When Egwau heard the deceased crying for help, he came out and called out for help from his neighbors, who immediately responded, and then Egwau ran to the Olwelai police post and reported the matter,’’ Nachuha said.

The deceased died due to the severity of his stab wounds, and his body was taken to the Nakatunya City mortuary for postmortem.
