Speaking about the condition of the Mityana–Mubende Road, the minister said the government could have spent less money on the project if engineers had raised concerns about the road’s deteriorating state earlier.

These two are the main culprits and we will all be happy if charged in court and then remanded for the massive corruption we have seen at parliament,” Olanya said.

“We appeal to the people in different villages to elect the opposition candidates who will deliver service accordingly. In the areas where we don't have candidates as PFF, we appeal to you not to vote for anyone who is aligned with our opponents, such as the NRM and PLU, because of what they have caused in this nation,” Lulume said.
