Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club has announced Abdallah Mubiru as the new Head Coach for a period of two years.
Mubiru takes over from Portuguese Sergio Daniel Traguil who mutually parted ways with the club in October 2023.
The Lord Mayor of Kampala, Ssalongo Erias Lukwago, who is also the club patron, unveiled Mubiru at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo, Kampala on Monday, November 13, 2023.
Mubiru will now be Head Coach for KCCA FC from 2023-2025.
The immediate goal for Mubiru and his technical staff is to get back KCCA FC’s season on track.
After serving in that capacity in 2014, Mubiru is in his second stint as head coach of KCCA FC.
Mubiru is also a former player for KCCA FC who featured for the club in the 1990s.
Mubiru has previously coached teams like Police FC, Proline FC, Vipers SC, Mbeya City FC and Uganda Cranes.
