A 32-year-old woman has been stabbed to death by her longtime lover in Kenya. This incident happened on October 1, 2024, in Kajiado county, Kitengela sub-county in Kenya, and the  deceased has been identified as Lucy Wambui Mathenge, a resident of Kajiado county.

Wambui was attacked at their rental home and stabbed to death after having a heated argument with her lover, who she has been with for seven years, identified as David Njoroge.

According to the eyewitnesses, Njoroge targeted and stabbed the victim’s internal organs because the wounds she had all over her body were so severe.

They added that she was bleeding profusely by the time they came to her rescue, which clearly shows Njoroge’s intent was to kill but not injure her.

’’The crime scene was so bloody, and her stab wounds were so deep and scary,’’ the eyewitnesses revealed.

One of the neighbors of the deceased, identified as Kellen Bahati, said that Njoroge attacked Wambui at their rental home after a heated argument with the deceased; however, she screamed for help, and on coming to her rescue, the culprit had managed to escape.

’’The state in which we found Wambui was so bad and scary because her stab wounds were so deep and she was bleeding a lot; however, we managed to rush her to the hospital, but she passed on as we were heading there,” Bahati noted.

Bahati added that a medical official called Peter Ndegwa at Kitengela Sub County Hospital examined the deceased, and he revealed that Wambui had lost a lot of blood and her internal organs, including the heart, were severely injured from the attack, hence why she died.

The Isinya Sub County Police Commander, Patrick Manyasi, confirmed the incident and revealed that investigations are underway and a manhunt for the suspect is also on.

Manyasi also called upon the locals to inform police on the whereabouts of the suspect so that he can be paid for his crimes.
