Douglas Mayanja, aka Weasel Manizo is set to stage a mega concert dubbed “Memories of Goodlyfe,” slated for August 2, 2024, at the Hotel Africana in Kampala city.

The concert is organized in regards to remembering the memories of Goodlyfe, which was a dynamic duo comprising Weasel and the late Mowzey Radio real name, Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo, who passed away in February 2018.

The Goodlyfe is known for its songs like Bread and Butter, Nakudata, Kuku, Leesu, Nyumbani, Lwaki Onumya, Neera, Breath Away, Magnetic, Nakutamani, Let’s Go Home, Mr. DJ, Juice, Ability, and many others.

Recently, Weasel said that since the demise of Radio, a person who had become his brother, he has been tortured and a lot has changed in life. He decided to abandon performing on stage as a way of mourning him.

But he later remembered that Radio would not be happy with him if he abandoned his career, thus picking himself up and getting back in the studio and on stage once again.

The reggae, ragga, and dancehall fusion artist has so far released songs like International Bae, More Time, Selector, Kiuno, and In My Room, which he has done with Melody real name Manson Kakooza. He is currently in South Africa, working on a new project.

An insider intimated to our entertainment desk that the lineup of artists that will grace the concert is yet to be confirmed.

The concert will have artists like Jose Chameleon, Melody, Pallaso, Rema Namakula, Spice Diana, and more joining him on stage.
