Vipers SC has officially confirmed the signing of Congolese forward Glodi Beyuku Munsi from AS Vita Club, strengthening their attack in the ongoing mid-season transfer window.

In a statement released on Thursday, February 19th, 2026, the Venoms announced that the 23-year-old striker has joined the club on a two-year contract.

“Vipers SC have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Glodi Beyuku Munsi from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), completing a move from Congolese top-flight giants AS Vita Club,” the club said.

Beyuku becomes the first signing of the window for the Kitende-based side as they reinforce their squad for the second half of the season.

“The 23-year-old forward joins the Venoms on a two-year contract. His arrival makes him the first player signed by Vipers in the ongoing mid-season transfer window,” the club added.

The striker arrives with strong credentials, having scored 10 goals last season for AS Vita. He has also begun the current campaign in impressive form, netting twice in two competitive appearances.

“He netted 10 goals last season for AS Vita, establishing himself as a reliable presence in the final third. He has also begun the current campaign in fine form, scoring two goals in two competitive appearances,” Vipers noted.

The club expressed confidence that his qualities will boost their frontline options.

“His blend of pace, movement and clinical finishing is expected to add a new dimension to Vipers’ frontline,” the statement read.

Beyuku’s arrival follows the departure of midfielder Allan Okello, who left the club in January after completing a move to Young Africans S.C. (Yanga).

Okello, a Uganda Cranes midfielder, ended his two-and-a-half-year spell at Vipers as a double winner, having played a key role in securing the Uganda Premier League and the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Beyuku will wear the number 23 shirt and is expected to immediately link up with the squad as the Venoms continue preparations for upcoming fixtures.
