Ugandan China-based TikTok Guru Arrives at Entebbe Airport

Rose Adikini, a Ugandan giant social media influencer based in China has on Friday, July 28, 2023, arrived at Entebbe Airport aboard Ethiopian Airlines with her Husband, son, and other Chinese family members, who will later on head to Adikini’s ancestral home in Tororo district of Eastern Uganda.

During an interview with Nexus Media Uganda, Adikini, who led a team of seven Chinese nationals to Uganda, said that, she is very excited to land in her motherland after eight years of being away from her family in Tororo.

“I am so excited to come back home with my family and friends. I can’t wait to hug my family members in Tororo,” Adikini said.

Adikini who will stay in Uganda for a month revealed that, they will also visit different parts of Uganda such as Jinja and Mbale, among others to feel the taste of Uganda’s wondrous nature and beauty.

“I am planning to visit some parts of Uganda, mostly those along my route to home like Jinja and Mbale, which are also iconic areas of Uganda’s tourism sector. Of course, my people in Tororo are set to receive me and the team and I are eager to join them soon,” she said.

She further noted the source of her prominence in the media arena stating that, she is always herself and not ashamed of her culture, and besides, she loves her motherland which she took to China.

“While here, I will remain myself because that is what I am and I will continue to produce Ugandan content because I love my Country and I think my fans support and love me because of the originality of my posts,” Adikini said.

“I appeal to my fans all over the world to continue checking my social media handles for more local Ugandan content for the period I will be in Uganda,” she added.

Popularly known as “Roseinchina1,” Adikini rose to fame in China in 2022, when her Tik Tok cross-cultural and glaring content attracted millions of multinational followers, making her one of the most followed Chinese Residents.
