Sheryl Botes Ulanda, Head Coach of the Uganda U20 Women’s National Team (Queen Cranes), has named the final squad for the All Africa Games 2023.

The team will compete for the first time at the quadrennial tournament, which will be held in Accra, Ghana, from March 8–23, 2024.

Uganda qualified for the 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup after finishing among the top eight teams in the qualifiers. Uganda is in Group A with hosts Ghana, neighbouring Tanzania, and Ethiopia.

Uganda will face Tanzania on March 9^th, followed by Ethiopia and Ghana, the host nation, on March 12^th and 15^th, respectively.

The team will travel to Ghana on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 2:45 a.m. aboard Ethiopian Airlines.

Dan Obote, a member of the FUFA Executive Committee, leads the delegations for the Queen Cranes and Uganda Hippos.

Both teams were flagged off yesterday at the Imperial Royale Hotel.
