The Government of Uganda is set to host a delegation of investors from the United Kingdom in a move aimed at strengthening trade ties and unlocking new investment opportunities.

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja announced that the UK investor delegation will visit Uganda for a six-day investment exploration mission scheduled from February 16 to 22, 2026. The visit is expected to focus on building partnerships with local companies and farmers, as well as boosting Uganda’s economic growth and international trade relations.

Speaking to the media at her office on February 11, 2026, Nabbanja expressed optimism about the upcoming visit.

“I am happy to inform you that a group of UK investors, operating under their umbrella organisations, the Westminster Africa Business Association and the South Asia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be visiting Uganda to explore investment opportunities,” she said.

The Prime Minister added that the main aim of the visit is to strengthen collaboration between UK investors and Uganda’s private sector, especially in agriculture and other key productive sectors of the economy.

During the visit, the delegation is expected to meet government officials, business leaders, and farmer groups to identify areas for investment and long-term partnerships.

Uganda continues to present itself as a strategic investment destination in East Africa, with opportunities in agriculture, manufacturing, energy, tourism, and infrastructure. The upcoming visit highlights growing international interest in Uganda’s expanding market and stable investment climate.
