Uganda has asked the African Development Bank (ADB) to support both energy and agricultural transformation plans.

This was announced by Patrick Ocailap, the Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, on the sidelines of the 7th Korea-Africa Finance Ministers’ Conference in Busan, Korea.

Ocailap, while interacting with Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, the President of the African Development Bank (ADB), said the transformational plans will be done through the Parish Development Model (PDM).

Ocailap also requested support in the area of capacity building to enable Uganda to develop bankable projects through the Bank’s Project Preparation Facility.

The ministerial conference is aimed at cementing Korea’s support for the development of the African continent.
