The highly anticipated Blankets and Wine event is returning to Kampala on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the iconic Lugogo Cricket Oval.
This family-friendly music festival promises an unforgettable experience of two stages, featuring great vibes, music, and fun under the sun.
The Blankets and Wine festival has been a Kampala staple since 2012, showcasing Uganda’s rich musical talent. This year’s event promises to promote the overall experience for attendees, with an exciting lineup of performances from Blu 3, Andereya Baguma, King Kivumbi, Joshua Baraka, A Ka Dope band Kenya’s Karun, MooTowNoh, South Africa’s Sun-El Musician, and Simmy.
Kenya’s MooTowNoh posted on his social media handle X how he will be live at the Blankets and Wine stage performing for the revelers.
“On 29th Sept 24, I’ll be rapping on stage, @BlanketsNWineUG. Just rhythmically reciting some of my poetry. I’ll be joined by other phenomenally talented artists! Come through, and we have ko a prolific time,” he wrote on X.

Blankets & Wine held its first event in Kampala in August 2012 and has since grown to hold three to four events a year. Blankets & Wine Music Experience is based on eight to 12 musical acts with different styles of urban African music.
