Section 25 of the UNEB Act, CAP 259, provides that any person who gains or attempts to gain possession of any examination papers commits an offense and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding UGX 2 million and a term of imprisonment not exceeding five years.
Anyone found in possession of exam papers or materials is guilty of an offense under Section 25(1) of the UNEB Act and faces a maximum fine of one thousand currency points, or a maximum sentence of five years in prison, or both. Ten million shillings is equal to five thousand currency points.
