The Hoima Resident City Commissioner (RCC), Badru Mugabi, has cautioned the Gombolola Internal Security Officers (GISOs) against tampering with the Parish Development Model (PDM) beneficiaries’ information during the data capture exercise and giving false information to their supervisors.

Mugabi remarked this while opening the PDM training for GISOs in the districts of Hoima, Hoima city, Kiryandogo, Masindi, Bulisa, and Kikuube on June 22, 2024, at the Hoima Resort Hotel.

The RCC warned the GISOs against altering data, as it would be the first failed attempt at PDM data capture. He called upon them to do the work diligently and give the correct information, which will benefit the government and keep the program going.

He said that the data capture program will not only help with PDM but also with security, as criminals will be easily gotten through having the addresses and contacts in place, thereby emphasizing why the data has to be correct.

Mugabi lauded the government, President Museveni, and the Internal Security Organization (ISO) for the initiative and said that he was confident that a good job would be done as he trusted the ISO leadership.

He noted that around Ugx 1.79 billion was the first disbursement, with an addition of approximately Ugx 50 billion, making it around Ugx 2.29 billion for Hoima, of which most of it has been given to the intended beneficiaries, and he hopes to have more money as promised soon.

The RCC called upon all the organs working under the President’s Office to work together as a team, including the RCCs, RDCs, RISOs, DISOs, and GISOs. He emphasized that they all have one goal, which is growth and security in the different districts.
