Ugandan veteran musician Ragga Dee, real names Daniel Kazibwe, has confirmed the date of his upcoming concert on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Serena Hotel in Kampala.

The ‘digida’ singer who has kept a low profile from the music scene was last spotted having a surprise stage performance with fellow singer Iryn Namubiru at her Timeless concert at Serena Hotel.

Earlier reports pointed to January 24, 2024 as the D-day for his much-anticipated concert.

However, a few days later, Ragga Dee decided to reshuffle his performance after other artists like musician King Saha, scheduled their concerts on the same day.

“A year ago, I booked Serena Hotel for the 24th of January 2025 for my concert. I was surprised when other artists chose the same date for their concerts. So I decided to change my date to 25th January,” he said.

Speaking to the Nexus media, Ragga Dee said that his concert still holds as communicated earlier in 2024. ,

He promised his fans an exciting and unforgettable experience with a number of surprise artist performances on that day.

“The concert is on 25th January. Expect the original Ragga Dee, sound, stage and performance. There will be a number of surprise artists; if I tell you the names, it will no longer be a surprise,” Ragga Dee said.

Responding to whether he will have artists curtain rise for him on that day, the singer said that the musicians were a surprise with artists that cut across all generations.

“I will mix the musicians up; there will be music from all generations. The ones I have mentored, legendary musicians, youthful ones who have not yet been exposed and more,” he said.

He assured our reporter that he will be holding a press conference ahead of the concert in a later communication.

“I am going to hold a press conference very soon and all media houses are invited. Soon my adverts will also be out,” Ragga Dee added.

The singer is known for songs like Digida, Monomonomove , Parliament,  Owakaze Ke, Oyagala Cash , Stranger ,Crazy , Mukko, Empetta , Landlord , Sweep, Mazzi Mawanvu , Omulungi and many others.
