President Manuel in Uganda to Deepen Diplomatic Ties

The President of Sao Tome and Principe, Carlos Manuel Vila Nova, has embarked on a two day working state visit in Uganda at the invitation of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

President Manuel and his entourage arrived at Entebbe International Airport at 2 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023 and is expected to engage in a series of diplomatic engagements with his counter, President Museveni.

In a message released by the Presidential Press Unit, President Manuel was received by the Director General of the External Security Organization, Ambassador Joseph Ocwet, and the Commander of the Air Force, Lt. Gen. Charles Okiding.

While in Uganda, President Manuel will be hosted by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni during the bilateral talks between the two leaders.
