Police has arreasted Esther Nabirye a 26 year old house wife married to Sulait Mugabi a mechanic of Mafubira Zone C- Jinja  for forcing a young child Abudal Kasaga aged four and half to eat his own human feces.

According to the Police spokesperson SCP Fred Enanga, the woman was arrested after  being captured on video forcing the minor to eat his own human waste an act police has described as inhumane.

“The act is one of the most barbaric and inhumane form of child abuse, as we speak she is under our custody at Jinja CPS and a case file of child torture and abuse has been opened,” said SCP Enanga

Police commended the neighbor for capturing the video, much as a few details were given, the police were able to apprehend the suspect.

“What this neighbor did was really an act of courage and we applaud her for that, you can’t see a neighbor torturing a child repeatedly and you just keep quiet, this one took the opportunity and recorded the video and then shared it, so that was what led to Esther’s arrest,” said SCP Enanga.

The police have also stated that they will be taking over the child victim and ensure that he gets emergency protective shelter, from a very good home.

“We believe that there could have been more extreme acts of violence from this step mother, so we strongly condemn these inhumane acts of torture,” said SCP Enanga.
