Pastor, Gospel Musician Travis Greene to Perform in Uganda

American singer, songwriter, and founding senior pastor of the Forward City Church, Travis Montorius Greene, commonly known as Travis Greene, is set to hold a concert in Uganda dubbed Make a Joyous Noise on Sunday, March 9, 2024, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval grounds in Kampala.

According to Eden Kironde, one of the organizers, after failing to perform two years ago, the new committee has taken over the concert, and all is set for the musician to perform in Uganda.

“As organizers, we have done everything that is required of us to make sure that Uganda gets to enjoy the wonderful music of Travis Greene. Everything is set, and revelers can look forward to an awesome experience from one of the greatest artists of this generation,” Kironde said.

Gospel lovers will part with UGX 60,000 for silver, UGX 150,000 for gold, and UGX 300,000 for platinum.

The 40-year-old gospel artist is best known for his songs like Nara, Intentional, You Waited, Be Still, Tent Revival, Good and Loved, Worship Rise, Watch Him Turn It, Dependable, Thank You For Being God, and Put Your Name On Me, to mention but a few.

The award-winning musician began his music career in 2007 with the release of The More album via Greene-light Records. He has since released two studio albums, Stretching Out in 2010 and The Hill in 2015, and an extended play, Intentional, in 2015. Greene’s third album, Crossover: Live From Music City, was released in 2017 as a live album.

Greene’s music has charted the Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums and the Top Gospel Songs charts, and he has been nominated for multiple awards, including five Grammy Awards and 13 Stellar Awards.
