President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is set to pitch camp in the Sebei sub region to assess the implementation of the Parish Development Model in the area.
In a message issued by the Presidential Press Unit-PPU on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, President Museveni’s tour of Sebei will kick off on December 10th to 12th, 2024.
While in the region, the president will tour several wealth creation programs, including farming started with the support from PDM.
He will also meet with the local leaders to discuss wealth creation strategies that can usher locals into the money economy during a meeting to be held in Kween district.
According to PPU, Museveni will, on the last day, address a public rally to deliver his wealth creation messages with a strict focus on the four-acre farming model.
Last week, President Museveni toured the Karamoja region, where he emphasized the government’s commitment to deliver the region that once suffered from instability.
