Museveni Donates UGX80M Towards the Construction of Bwongyera Girls Secondary School

H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has donated UGX 80 million towards the construction of a dormitory and main hall at Bwongyera Girls Secondary School in Ntungamo District.

This development was confirmed by Premier Rt. Hon Robinah Nabbanja, who represented President Museveni at the commemoration ceremony of 40 years of successful service and fundraising for Bwongyera Girls Secondary School held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

In a speech delivered by Hon. Nabbanja, the President appreciated the sacrifices and efforts of all the different stakeholders in contributing to the progress and success of the school.

“The President appreciates the sacrifices and efforts of all the different stakeholders in contributing to the progress and success of this school,” Nabbanja said.

According to Nabbanja, the President also congratulated Bwongyera Girls Secondary School on providing students with quality education, which has contributed to Uganda’s development.

The premier also contributed UGX10 million to the construction of Bwongyera Girls Secondary School.

In 2016, the government allocated UGX 1.6 million to Bwongyera Girls Secondary School to run the school.
