Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford has reportedly rejected three lucrative offers from clubs in the Saudi Arabia Pro League with one worth up to £35m a year.

The 27-year-old forward has not featured for the club since December 12, 2024.

This points to the speculation of his early exit despite signing a long-term deal up to June 2028.

According to the famous sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Rashford is waiting for a recall from the manager, Ruben Amorim, and is ready to give 100 percent to the team.

Romano says the football star will also leave Manchester United for a competitive club and league that would give him a chance of regaining his place in the England squad.

“Rashford has no interest in Saudi Pro League move for the January transfer window, that’s the idea so far. However, the forward will only go to a competitive club and league that would give him a chance of regaining his place in the England squad,” Romano said.

However, despite the club’s willingness to entertain offers for the English forward, Rashford, while being interviewed by the BBC Sports, expressed his love and desire to succeed with Manchester United and therefore not his will to leave the club.

“I joined Manchester United as a seven-year-old boy with a dream. That same passion, pride, and determination to succeed still drives me every time I have the honor of wearing the shirt. I remain relentlessly determined to win more trophies in the years ahead,” Rashford said.

Rashford has not played for the club in the last five games after he was axed from the squad for the Manchester derby last month.

He was named on the bench at home to Newcastle on Monday night after a four-match absence but was an unused substitute in United’s 2-0 defeat.

However, according to the Sun, a UK-based sports news website, United could use Rashford to tempt Napoli into a swap deal for 26-year-old Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian is being admired by different European giants, including rival Manchester City and Barcelona.
