Uganda cranes lose to Algeria

The Uganda cranes has suffered a third qualification loss at the hands the Algerian Mohamed Amouras brace at the Jopama Stadium. Uganda’s Bayo Fahad managed to get a late consolation.
Stuck on 4 points, 2 home defeats (abroad), 3 goals scored in 5 matches, Uganda’s hopes for qualifying to the African Cup of Nations became low. For the cranes to qualify, they will need to win over Niger, while Tanzania must lose to Algeria.
“We made mistakes that cost us, but I still have hope that we shall qualify for the tournament,” Head coach Micho said.
Uganda Junior Golf Team
The Uganda junior golfers are already camped in Japan for the 2023 Toyota World Cup which will start on June 19, 2023 (today) to June 23, 2023.
The team is made up of Captain Joseph Reagan Akena, Juma Abiti, Ibrahim Ssemakula, Collins Matovu and their head coach Flavia Namakula. Uganda will be playing in this tournament for the second time, as they made their debut in 2019.
“We feel confident going into this tournament and am confident of this side. Players are ready physically and mentally for the battle,” Namakula said.
Uganda Lacrosse Cranes
The Uganda lacrosse cranes team is in San Diego, United States of America for the 2023 world lacrosse men’s championship. The tournament will start on the June 21st to July 1st 2023. The 26 men team will be vying for the biggest prize in a 30 teams events.

UEFA Nations League Finals
Croatia faced Spain in the finals of the UEFA nation’s league. The match ended without any of the teams putting the ball into the others’ net. They were forced into penalties where Spain won by 5 to 4 and becoming the defending champions.
