Ntungamo problems related to infrastructural development, health, and education are not exceptional but are similar to those affecting other Ugandans.

The National Unity Platform (NUP) party leader, Robert Kyagulanyi, has urged Ugandans, especially NUP supporters, to keep pushing for a peaceful change of power.

Kyagulanyi, who happened to be addressing NUP supporters in Ntungamo municipality on Thursday, July 18, 2024, appreciated the Ntungamo residents for supporting the party. He, however, urged them to keep pushing for a change of power, irrespective of the intimidation they are undergoing.

“I know my Ntungamo supporters have been intimidated many times, but I urge you not to give up the fight; instead, keep pushing until we see change in Uganda and this can be done peacefully,” he said.

Kyagulanyi added that the Ntungamo problems related to infrastructural development, health, and education are not exceptional but are similar to those affecting other Ugandans.

“The problems of Ntungamo are not different from the problems of other Ugandans in different parts of the country, such as poor roads, no medicine in hospitals, a bad state of schools, and many others,” he added.

NUP, which is currently conducting a nationwide tour, will conclude its western region tour with their last visit to Isingiro district on Friday, July 19, 2024.
