Heritage Musician Ray G Set to Perform in Kampala

Heritage Musician Ray G, real name Reagan Muhairwe, is set to perform at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala city in a music show dubbed “Ray G Live in Concert” on Friday, May 10, 2024.

The Ugandan singer and songwriter, who mainly sings heritage music in Runyankore, will be performing in Uganda’s largest city for the second time after a successful concert he held at the Imperial Royale Hotel on Saturday, October 29, 2022, ever since he came to the music scene.

The 31-year-old talented R&B, Zouk Raggae, and acoustic guitarist promised to take his fans through his songs like Omusheshe, Yoya, Forever, Nkaronda, Make a Way, Owangye Omwigarire, Eizooba, Ringaaniza, Live Love (Oro’ta), Iteeka, Enshazi, Eshoro ya Rukundo, Nuunu, Mureebe, and Mwami, Mareika, among others.

Music lovers who are conversant with his music will be expected to party with UGX 20,000 for general, UGX 50,000 for VIP, UGX 1 million for gold, and UGX 2 million for platinum entrances.

Ray G started singing in 2009 while at school and continued until 2014, when he broke through with his hit song Amarari. In 2021, he won an award for the best artist of the year from western Uganda at the Janzi Awards Creative Art Industry.
